This film is a reimagining of the 1997 snake horror classic, 'Anaconda,' which starred Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, Ice Cube, Jon Voight, Eric Stoltz, and Jonathan Hyde. In this 'not-a-reboot' version, Black and Rudd play Doug and Griff, two best friends with a shared dream of remaking their favorite movie. Their midlife crisis propels them to embark on an adventure deep into the Amazon, where they begin filming. However, their plans take a turn when a real giant anaconda appears, transforming their movie set into a perilous situation.
